Are there philosophical problems? (e.g., “This shouldn’t be so difficult to solve.”)

What do they want?

What is their ultimate goal or desire?

What emotions do you want your customers to associate with your brand?

What inspired you to start this business?

Defining the Guide

Why should your customer trust you?

What experience, credentials, or successes make you credible?

How do you empathize with your customer?

What do you understand about their frustrations, and how do you show you care?

Creating the Plan

What steps do you want your customer to take?

What is the clear, step-by-step process they’ll follow to work with you or use your product/service?

What does success look like?

How will their life or business be better after working with you?

What tangible and emotional results do they achieve?

What does failure look like if they don’t solve their problem?

What consequences will they face by not taking action?

What objections might customers have at each stage of their journey (awareness, consideration, decision)?

How do you address those objections?

Can you summarize what you do in a single sentence that’s easy to remember and clearly conveys value?

What is your call to action?

What do you want your customer to do next? (e.g., book a call, schedule a demo, make a purchase)

What actions should customers take at each stage of their journey (awareness, consideration, decision)?

What do they do well, and what gaps can you fill?

What makes your brand unique compared to competitors?

What is something ONLY your brand offers?

What’s your brand personality?

How do you want people to feel when they interact with your brand? (e.g., confident, supported, inspired)

What concerns or hesitations might they have about working with you?

What words or phrases represent your brand’s tone? (e.g., friendly, authoritative, witty, luxurious)

What words or styles should be avoided in your brand communication?

What’s your mission?

Why does your business exist, beyond making a profit?

What’s your vision for the future?

Where do you see your business and your customers in 5–10 years?

Do you plan to expand your brand to other products/services in the future?

Are there partnerships or collaborations you want to pursue?
